Welcome

The Eastern Massachusetts Girls Lacrosse Coaches Association (EMGLCA) was informally created in 1998 to represent the public high school girl’s lacrosse programs in Eastern Massachusetts. Now in 2026, with over 150 member programs, the EMGLCA is taking the next step to ensure participation, partnership and longevity by formalizing into a 501c3 non-profit entity.

The EMGLCA serves as the central organizing, communication, and advocacy body for public and catholic high school girls’ lacrosse programs that operate under the governance of the MIAA across Eastern Massachusetts. It represents more than 150 programs and nearly 20 leagues, ensuring consistent standards, information sharing, and recognition across the region.

The EMGLCA gathers and distributes information to member programs via a board consisting of elected representatives from each recognized league. League Representatives serve as the voices at EMGLCA meetings, All Star selections, and MIAA Lacrosse committee meetings.  The Association helps coordinate All‑Star selections and other recognitions for players across EMGLCA schools.  It works to promote girls’ lacrosse, improve standards, and support program growth across the region. The EMGLCA is dedicated to unifying girl’s lacrosse by providing a network of information and education to member coaches.

Membership dues are necessary for our organization because they will provide essential funding that will create a predictable revenue stream that supports our operations and long-term sustainability.

2026 Season Membership Dues:

  • $50 if paid by April 1, 2026
  • A 25$ late fee will be applied for any membership dues paid after April 1, 2026

  • Two (2) EMGLCA Senior Award Recipients
  • One (1) EMGLCA All-Scholastic Award Recipient
  • Consideration for EMGLCA All-Star Honorable Mention or All-Star status
