2026 USA LACROSSE NATIONAL TOURNAMENT
With teams from across the country, the National Tournament, a long tradition in women’s lacrosse, is one of the nation’s marquee events to kick off the college recruiting season. Participants, all high school-aged players in grades 9 through 11, must go through a tryout process and be selected to their regional team. Interested players should notify their high school coach and/or the sub-regional chair for the tryout link.

INFORMATION FOR HIGH SCHOOL COACHES:
NOMINATION PROCESS:
Every Varsity high school coach will have the opportunity to nominate up to FOUR field players and ONE goalkeeper from their program to attend MA/RI regional tryouts. Once you have decided who in your program to nominate, you will need to send them the tryout registration link (link is at the bottom of this email).
- Current Varsity players in grades 9-11 are eligible for nomination. In order to keep tryouts as competitive and fair as possible, we ask that coaches are selective when nominating and only send their top athletes who are ready to compete at the national stage.
- Please encourage your athletes to register early as we can only accommodate 200 field players at tryouts this year. Please also talk to your players about the position for which they register. They will be evaluated and placed on teams according to this position.
- Additionally, USA Lacrosse continues to rule that committed players cannot be rostered below the first team in any region. Committed players who fall in the evaluation process on our second team will be bumped off of rosters to create opportunities for non-committed players. If a player commits after registering for tryouts, we ask that they make the regional chair aware of their commitment as soon as possible.
MA/RI TRYOUT SELECTOR AND TEAM COACH APPLICATIONS:
Massachusetts and Rhode Island high school coaches are asked to consider volunteering their time as a tryout selector or tournament team coach.
