EMGLCA Senior Awards are given to student-athletes who lead with integrity, achieve excellence academically and athletically, and demonstrate exceptional sportsmanship in all they do.
EMGLCA Senior Award nominations will be based on:
- EMGLCA Scholar-Athlete Award – The EMGLCA Scholar Athlete Award recognizes members of the Class of 2026 who have excelled both in the classroom and on the field. Recipients of this award are seniors who have exhibited academic excellence and have earned at least two varsity letters in lacrosse.
- EMGLCA Community Service Award – The EMGLCA Community Service Award recognizes members of the Class of 2026 who have made contributions to their school and local communities. Recipients of this award actively serve others, are devoted to helping those in need and make an effort to improve the communities around them.
- EMGLCA Leadership Award – The EMGLCA Leadership Award recognizes members of the Class of 2026 who have supported others while taking initiative in their school and sports communities. Recipients of this award are motivators and influencers; they are selfless, responsible and accountable.
- EMGLCA Sportsmanship Award – The EMGLCA Sportsmanship Award recognizes members of the Class of 2026 who have demonstrated superior teamwork and sportsmanship. Recipients of this award exhibit fair play, respect to opponents, coaches and referees, and inclusiveness and integrity.
How to Submit Your Nominations
All EMGLCA-member coaches can select an EMGLCA Senior award to present to two (2) members of the graduating class from his/her high school.
The nomination form will be posted closer to the end of the season for you to recognize your seniors’ outstanding participation.
